Coach’s Notes: Martin has made some huge improvements across the board since starting with FC. He is a busy family man but has committed to his training time and rarely misses a group session, and the benefits are evident. Adjusting his bike and transitioning from a road bike to a tri bike was one of the big changes and his swim is drastically improved! So proud of all the huge accomplishments achieved and looking forward to an even better 2021!!! Way to go Martin!

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

After running my fifth full marathon in Chicago in 2019, I felt that I needed a new challenge, not only as a motivation, but also needed a real change physically. Involving a change in my nutrition, which I knew it was my biggest weakness to be better as an athlete and healthier as a person.

My good friend Romain, who convinced me to buy my first bike, also mentioned about FCC and how good the training program was, and the good people around it, so I said, WHY NOT? Because for me, the training program is a big part but also the environment around it.

Please share your BIG goals:

· Becoming a great swimmer, even in the ocean.
· Half Ironman in 2021
· Get a podium in an Olympic distance
· Becoming healthier and injury free
Not necessarily in that order 😊

Tell me about your successes so far:
· Have been committed to training, workouts and the team
· Look better physically and stronger mentally
· Reach longer distances swimming and biking
· Change small “big” things in my nutrition

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following? Swim: Bike: Run: Nutrition/Health: Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved:

Swim: improve in my form. Be able to swim +2300yr with fuel in the tank. Swimming below 2min pace (Sprint in 1:43/100yr).

Bike: Reached 56 miles based on training AND better nutrition/hydration while biking. From 16m/h avg. when I started the training program to 20.5m/h in the last race!

Run: better form, faster pace, bottom line: I’m a more efficient runner.

Nutrition/Health: I’ve changed almost all my nutrition habits, from breakfast to pre and post training nutrition routines. My body have responded well so far, I feel lighter but also stronger than before.

I think my body is in a journey “from Publix to Whole Foods body”.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:

1. Nutrition
2. Pre and post workouts (warm up, breath, stretch, etc)
3. To be surrounded by crazy people, sharing objectives, struggles and achievements every day in person or WA.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

To be a more complete athlete, to be healthier but also don’t get bored with the same workout every day.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

I’d say about the great people in the group from coaches to athletes, about all the fun and hard work around the training workouts. I’d say how FCC is changing me for good. But first, what convinced me to take the first step. Call Erinne and tell her about you, she will do the rest.

Rockstar Triathlete: Romain Ritter

Rockstar Triathlete: Romain Ritter

Coach’s Notes: Romain is a dedicated triathlete. Coming to me with 2 years of experience, we needed to evaluate what his limiters might be to get him to the next level and reaching his new bigger triathlon dreams. The camera doesn’t lie and identifying where he can swim, bike and run better with improved technique was and will allow continued success. Testing and retesting every 6-8 weeks, keeps us on track to train to his current fitness level and energy systems. I’m super proud of the immediate successes we’ve had. Now, let’s get to work on an amazing 2021 and getting those Dreams to Reality!

Age: 39 and counting

Profession: Wine & Spirits

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey? I started doing triathlons three years ago and quickly reached a peak. You can only go so far relying on internet searches as a training tool.

I then decided to join another Miami-based team which proved to me that a structured training program makes a world of difference. However, I was clearly looking for more than just structure. I was on the hunt for a more holistic approach (body/nutrition/mind) and a real team atmosphere which after meeting Erinne I quickly noticed I would have in joining FCC.

What is your “A” race for this season? My “A” Race was last Saturday, December 6, 2020 Challenge Daytona 70.3 (Middle Distance). Now that it has passed, I am already looking ahead to Challenge Miami 70.3 in March, 2021. Being a big racing (car) fan, racing on two world renowned tracks in special. More importantly, Challenge Miami falls on the day of my 40th birthday (and my son’s 7th). This makes it even more of an exciting goal to hit a PR in company of family and friends on an important turning point in my life. Having goals is great but making them even more personal and sharing them with those you are close to is just so much better. Hoping other FCC members join in the fun too.

Please share your BIG goals:

– Sub 5hr 70.3

– Breaking 25mph average bike on a 50+ mile bike

– Sub 1h35 half marathon

– A podium at least on one race – just for bragging rights 😊

Tell me about your successes so far: Since joining FCC 6 months ago, my focus was this past weekend’s 70.3. Beyond beating the stretch target we had set for the race, I feel like my biggest success, thanks to FCC, has been my improvement on my weakest discipline, the swim!

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:
1. Swim performance. I simply love Erinne and Jacquelyn’s ability to make a very technical sport seem so effortless. They have taught me so much. Not only is my technique better (still WIP) but I understand why I do things correctly or not.
2. Nutrition has been a major improvement. After the assessment, Erinne brought attention to the fact that although I had a healthy diet overall, I was not eating enough particularly pre/post workout and that I needed to adjust the type of intake I had. I have made those tweaks and added supplements tailored to my needs. Never have I felt better.
3. The importance of stretching/strength training

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon? Until recently, it has really been about surpassing myself and being able to focus on multiple sports. I do not like routine.

I also love the community – I feel like all triathletes I have met have the same drive and similar values. Whatever the level, we can all relate to one another. This is special – as much as there is competition, it is always in a healthy, family-style environment. This is even more so true within the FCC team.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program? What are you waiting for. Give it a try. What have you got to lose. FCC is for all athletes, not just triathletes! Set a goal and allow FCC to help you deliver on it.

Rockstar Triathlete: Jesse Jimenez

Rockstar Triathlete: Jesse Jimenez

Coach’s Notes: To take up the sport of triathlon at age 63 is pretty gutsy and that is a great way to describe Jesse! In one year, he has become the triathlete he set out to become. He finished his first 70.3, just a few weeks ago, feeling amazing and signed up for a full Ironman in 2021. He also PR’d his International distance triathlon. An inspiration to our whole team to be an example of what’s possible at any age! Way to go Jesse, Ironman is calling!!!

Age: 64
Profession: Electrical Contractor

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey? I met Erinne at a race clinic for Mack Cycle for my first Olympic distance triathlon. After finishing that race (and it did not go well), I realized I was going to have to be coached.

What is your “A” race for this season?

Game on 70.3, just a few weeks ago and next is Florida Ironman 2021

Please share your BIG goals:

Complete Florida Ironman with best times on swim, bike and run.

Tell me about your successes so far:

Recently finished 70.3 triathlon at Ft Pierce.

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following? Swim: Bike: Run: Nutrition/Health: Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved: I’ve learned a lot about nutrition all around and while training. Plays a big part in performance as well as getting enough rest.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:
1. Definitely tri-camp (www.ultimatetricamp.com). Very focused takes you to next level.
2. Biking in NC was a big thing. Pushing on the bike in the hills.
3. Just being consistent about training, doing the work, showing up for work outs on a daily basis.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon? Well now I’m pretty well obsessed about it and the thought of going to Ironman, which I did not think possible at first, but now I know I can with help from Full Circle Coaching.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program? Do it!

Coach’s Notes: Due to Covid I had to be creative with my online coaching and get my athletes what they needed virtually. When I offered my first online only coaching program (The 8 week Sprint Triathlon Finish line Program) Monica jumped in and we were able to get her what she needed until we could meet. I’m so impressed with her accomplishments and to be committed even when she can’t make it to class, she does her online training on her own. The weekly Zoom calls helped her be able to improve in all 3 sports. Monica congratulations on all your accomplishments, but this is just the beginning! I’m looking forward to what’s next. Another podium, Olympic triathlon and maybe even a half IM!!! Lets do it girl!!!

Age: 55

Profession: Office/HR Manager

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

In 2018, a friend convinced me to do the Huntington Disease Sprint Duathlon with her, for fun, and that is where I met Erinne, when she was giving the Pre-race Clinic. After that race I was dabbling with the idea of someday doing a Triathlon, but my biggest fear was the swimming portion with the big crowds of swimmers. I followed coach Erinne and FCC in social media and loved the fact that her methods were so comprehensive and with a holistic approach.

May of this year, Erinne offered a Q&A Webinar about Virtual Triathlon Training so, I decided to register. I was in a rut at the time not wanting to get up in the mornings to exercise nor go running. After listening to Erinne and all the testimonials (especially Vicki Koller’s) I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try…..and I loved it!!!

What is your “A” race for this season?

The Mack Cycle Trilogy races and Escape to Miami. For now I’m focusing on the Sprint races, but want to work on improving my endurance in all 3 disciplines in order to do an Olympic distance.

Please share your BIG goals:

Improve my running skills in order to run a Half and Full Marathon without having to take walk breaks. Someday do a half Ironman (not sure which one yet, nor when).

Tell me about your successes so far:

Completed my first Sprint Triathlon, and the cherry on top was that I podiumed, 3rd place in my age group……even with a horrible run! I’m still a work in progress, but I feel stronger and see the improvements.

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following? Swim: Bike: Run: Nutrition/Health: Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved:

Swim: First and foremost, being able to do an open water swim around a group of swimmers with waves and currents. I believe my swim form has improved, therefore gliding better through the water. Working on endurance and speed.

Bike: I started riding my bike again last year, but with FCC I have been learning a lot on the use and selection of the proper gears, cadence, drafting correctly, etc. Working on endurance and speed.

Run: I had a high heart rate in running when I started with FCC, but with speed and strength training, learning how to change my cadence, and pacing myself have helped me tremendously.

Nutrition/Health: Learning how to make better choices before, during and after a workout.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:

1. The mentorship and wealth of information that Coach Erinne and her team of coaches offer. Erinne really cares about her athletes and always makes herself available to all of them no matter the question you may have.

2. Meeting new people and training with an awesome tribe that I’ve met through Full Circle. They’ve been so welcoming, supportive, kind and so much fun to be around.

3. Having a training plan that is fit for me and consistency in the training.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

I love being able to challenge myself and see improvements. There is nothing like getting to the finish line and knowing that you made it! It is also great to be part of a group of people that share the same passion and are nothing but supportive and encouraging to one another.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

Try it, you have nothing to lose, only gain. You’ll gain a great experience, the tools and knowledge for a healthy, active life and the camaraderie. It has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Rockstar Triathlete; Zaheer Edoo

Coaches Notes: Zaheer came to me with very little belief in his ability to run more than 3 miles due to chronic injury. After being in the group program, we decided to work one on one to help overcome his challenges, and still have the team support. Getting stronger and running less initially and then safely progressing in volume to complete his very first 13.1 faster than his goal time of 2:35. He challenged me every step of the way and then trusted the process after seeing and feeling the results to run a 2:31 Half Marathon.

Way to go Zaheer, super proud of all of your accomplishments! What’s Next??? 🙂

Age: 46

Profession: Independent Financial Adviser

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

Beda Molina and Andres Velasco recommended me to FCC.  I was tired of self-training, where I didn’t really know what to do; didn’t know when to push or to rest, and as a result, I was prone to over-training and injury.

What is your “A” race for this season? 305 Miami Half Marathon, 2020

Please share your BIG goals:

Tell me about your successes so far: Running a 10K, then running a Half Marathon, and improving the times in my Triathlon Races

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following? Swim: Bike: Run: Nutrition/Health: Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved:

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:

1.   Run improvement.  From panting and wheezing while running from 3 miles in the Sprint; to being able to run a 10K and then a Half Marathon, pain free and breathing clear.

2.  Nutrition improvement.  Eating less sugar and processed grains to more fats.  This improved my training performance and my cholesterol numbers.

3.  Improving the stroke efficiency of my swim

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon/running?

The thrill of being at race day, and pushing it on the course, mid-way through a race.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

FCC is a great personalized program to help you in with your running and triathlons.   They have a team based, collaborative mentality.  It not a competition among members.  It’s like a Family.  People are encouraged by their peers  and coaches to achieve their goals.   Everyone is given equal importance, not just “top athletes.”

I see some mass production coaching programs.  In other programs, you are given a training program and that’s it.  No personal touch.  You feel like it’s a just a money making business.
FCC is not like that, FCC has a personal touch and really cares about your results!

Rockstar Triathlete Vicki Koller

Rockstar Triathlete Vicki Koller

Coach’s Notes: I met Vicki last year at a Footworks and invited her to train for her first triathlon; The Mighty Mujer women’s only race. She said yes and brought 2 more friends along. I am so proud of all of her success. She always shows up to practice with a smile and words of encouragement as she gets all the work done, before her work as a teacher. She is a prefect example of trusting the process to be successful. She showed up, did the work as much as possible and has been successful at every next race she has.

I love it! Thanks Vicki for bringing the inspiration to so many who don’t think they can. You are proving it’s possible – 2020 is going to be an amazing year! See more information below if you are ready find out more about this year’s Mighty Mujer and how Full Circle can help you cross the finish line at your first triathlon.

Age: 68

Profession: STEM Teacher

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

By chance I heard Erinne talk one evening to my running group. “Lets do a a triathlon,” she said. Now, not many people decide to do their first triathlon after they collect Social Security. It wasn’t a goal really; it was a bucket list item. The “do once in a lifetime” just so you can say you did it. So with a month of training, 4 swim lessons under my belt, and a borrowed mountain bike, I did the Mighty Mujer women’s only triathlon….and I was hooked! Now I have goals: PR’s to set, nutrition plans to establish, HR zones to learn about, and so much more. I’m enjoying being active and healthy.

What is your “A” race for this season?

The Mighty Mujer was my first Tri and will always be special. To have the Full Circle warriors there at the end cheering me on, was the greatest feeling.

Please share your BIG goals:

1. Take the trainer off my bike!

2. I hope to run the Miami Marathon this year. It is going to be a stretch. I have the first 13.1 down, now working on the nutrition and stamina for the last 13.

3. 2020 season goal: Multirace Triathlon Trilogy series.

4, Nutrition, Nutrition, and Nutrition.

5. Having a better understanding of the training parameters.

Tell me about your successes so far:
My main success is that I have stuck with the program. Without this there would be no other successes. I took almost 15 minutes off my last ½ marathon and haven’t run that fast in 10 years. I have learnt to swim. My respiratory system is stronger. I love FFF (the strength class on Fridays that Full Circle has). My endurance is up.

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following?

Swim: Bike: Run:

All I had ever done was run a few ½ marathons. I hadn’t biked in over 40 years and never seriously swam before. My swim and bike times still look slower than molasses on a cold day, but they are improving. So is my HD cholesterol!

Nutrition/Health: Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved:

Recently I had a physical and my physician said, “Not many people have the blood pressure and lab values you do.” I hope to do even better. I have just started working with Erinne on the nutritional program. We all talk about physical health, but for me mental health is a high priority. Exercise keeps my spirit up, my life more organized, and is my best defense against dementia.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:

More than numbers and times, it is the enjoyment and camaraderie. Everyone has been so supportive, that is number 1. I’m also learning there is more to running than putting one foot in front of the other. The track workouts have helped not only my running, but also my understanding of what I need to do before I run, during my run, and importantly after my run. Adding the nutritional program I sure is going to take all that I currently do to the next level.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?

If your goal is to just make the finish line – go be the weekend warrior. But if you want to accomplish your goal- join the Full Circle Coaching training program. Achievement requires not only hard work, but also knowledge. This program gives us the knowledge so that our hard work pays off.

I have a simple 8 week training program starting in March to help you or a friend cross the finish line in your first triathlon. This can be used for any sprint triathlon. We will be focusing on the Mighty Mujer women’s only triathlon and offering Free race entries with the training plans. I guarantee your success!

Michael was already a strong triathlete but not using testing and training zones to train and race. Switching from hoping for the best outcome on race day to knowing within a few minutes what he is capable dialed in his race performance and we got it right first time around- 1st place baby! So proud of you Michael, so dedicated to train and get it in between family time and work- You are truly a rockstar triathlete- Let’s see what 2020 can bring!!!

Age: 44

Profession: Sales with Schindler Elevator Corporation Maintenance and Repair

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?
I met Erinne at my 1st pre-race clinic for the May 2017 Mack Cycle Tri-Miami. I gained some valuable tips from her and knew she was passionate and knowledgeable about the sport.

Last year, my dear friend, Hunter Tully,  joined FCC and I was able to see him grow in the sport and hear all about the FCC approach. Earlier this year Hunter approached me about joining a team that he was putting together to race in the RAAM (Ride Across America) in June 2020. Erinne is also a part of that team. At one of our RAAM team meetings I was able to share with her my goals and what I had been doing with a part time coach. She was confident that she could help and I gave it a shot. In 3 months she helped me reach my 1st goal. I’m so glad that I made the decision to be a part of her team!

What is your “A” race for this season?
Key West Olympic

Please share your BIG goals:
50 mile Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim run in the Grand Canyon, Gulf Coast 70.3 PR and Podium, RAAM in 8 days (3,000+ miles 125,000 gain), and complete full Ironman.

Tell me about your successes so far:
I started doing triathlons in 2017. I am a proud finisher of 3 Half Ironman distance races with a PR of 5:33. I have done multiple sprint, international/Olympic distances since 2017 and just finished 1st in my age group in Key West.

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following? Swim: Bike: Run: Nutrition/Health: Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved:
Swim – Erinne is correcting my form and in 3 months I’ve gotten almost 20 seconds faster per 100 yards;
Bike – proper bike fit and coaching has allowed me to sustain high power for much longer periods;
Run – structured workouts that have focused my training to run faster than ever.
Nutrition – work in progress!

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:
1. Setting specific goals within the race (race plan).
2. Workouts designed to maximize potential and simulate race day efforts.
3. Having someone to call or text that is willing and able to answer my every question. Yes even the silly and “you should know better” ones!

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?
Having an outlet for my competitive nature and the triathlon community. The community is AWESOME!

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?
You don’t know what you don’t know. Erinne, Dennis, and Dany are experts and can get you to the next level easier and quicker than anyone could do it by themselves.

Rockstar Triathlete Jennifer Kennedy

Coach’s Notes: Jenny shows up to every practice with a smile and an unbreakable willingness to complete the training. Her laughter and joy is infectious to those around her and it makes training fun for her and her group of friends. I could not be more excited for her progress. She had knee pain and no concept of running but a natural cyclist and getting stronger in the swim. After one session on the run, she was religious with the basic run mechanics we worked on and now she is pain free and getting on the podium after a strong season of triathlon training with my Gold Group Program.

I am so excited for all your future triathlon goals for 2020, I think the Kona Hawaii camp should be on the list too – Just sayin’!

You are a true Rockstar Triathlete!

Profession:
CEO of the Kennedy Family, Chairman of the Board for each of my kids.

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?
I needed a new goal, a new challenge and new energy in my life.  My kids are at an age where they need me less physically and more psychologically. I needed to transition into a space where I had goals of my own. Triathlon presents a three branch challenge.

What is your “A” race for this season?
A+ race, by far Key West.  This is my first year training and racing.  Key West was my 5th and final race.  It was beautiful, with a hometown feel   friendly and warm and great cheering sections along the way.

Please share your BIG goals:
My current BIG goal is to take TRI into my sixties and seventies, that means fine tuning all three disciplines so that I smooth out my form, stay healthy and strong and ultimately podium at age 75

Tell me about your successes so far:
When I started last February, I could not run a mile.  By far, the running was my biggest challenge. Erinne got my form in line and I’ve made it injury free to the point that I reached my goal of sub 30m 5k.

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following?
Swim: smoothing out my form and gliding    Spending time in the water getting strong was great   But implementing Erinne’s tips and getting more efficient and smart in the water has been key.

Bike: Dennis fit me on my Tri bike and it was a game changer.

Run: Fall forward, increase cadence and totally changed my gait.   This was major.  I feel I can run forever now. I went from feeling overwhelmed and HATING running to LOVING running.

Nutrition/Health: My body is leaner and stronger.  My sense of strength and mental acuity have improved. I’m still getting older but feel less brain fog.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:

1.  We are social animals!! The group training has been a major factor. Allison, Michelle and I, started supporting and encouraging each other as friends.  It’s great to have workout buddies. It’s also harder to push the snooze button when you know a friend is on the way to fetch you.  Now we are part of the Full Circle family and the entire team is gelling and getting accustomed to working together towards our own individual goals.

2.  Erinne’s coaching has been key.  I swam many laps and ran many miles with the ring form.  She fixed my form, and in turn made the sport easier and more enjoyable. Her voice is now stamped in my head.  She has pushed for improvement.  She has a firm handle on how to communicate and a keen eye for form.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?
Hello?? The easy access to Triathlon in Miami is great but TRAVEL has been a blast. So far, Bermuda and Key West have been amazing.  I can’t wait to see what’s next!!

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?
Dedicate yourself to Full Circle for one month.  You will see major changes in your overall health, your sleep, your mood and of course your body. But, the camaraderie and the beauty of the sunrise and being in nature are the unexpected benefits.

Rockstar Triathlete Alex Holland

Rockstar Triathlete Alex Holland

Coach’s Notes:
Alex reached out to me 12 months ago and set his goal for Ironman Florida 2019. We got to work, but honestly not much work was getting done. His skills were improving because he would show up to classes and do the drills and form work but, the volume of training was lacking to be successful for Ironman.

He did great at a Sprint, then at Olympic, but I knew it would take the 70.3 to wake him up to the reality that some work needs to get done to be successful at Ironman Florida. It worked, I knew he had enough of a base that he just put in a super serious 5 weeks, he could finish well. I was not about to let him quit, NO WAY! He totally stepped up, he dug in and hit all the training. It was so great to see him finally step up and his accomplishments were growing.

He had 2 goals for race day, just finish feeling good and sub 14 hours; Guess what, he did a 14:02. I am so proud of him for so many things, the most important one in believing in himself and trusting me that he could do it! Congratulations Alex, you indeed are a Rock Star Triathlete, Way to go!

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey? End goal was to complete a full Ironman (in 12 months), needed major help… especially the basics like learn how to swim, bike long distances and then be able to run.

What is your “A” race for this season? It was IronMan Florida 2019

Please share your BIG goals:  My ultimate dream/goal was to complete a Full-Iron Man

Tell me about your successes so far: I just did a full Ironman over the weekend… it was an indescribable feeling.

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following? Swim: Bike: Run: Nutrition/Health: Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved:

At Augusta 70.3 I had a bit of a wake up call. I was really under prepared in my training but Erinne suggested I still participate as a training day. I ended up cramping after the bike and bombed the run, which is my strength. I was really defeated and wanted to quit, thinking there was no way I could do a full Ironman. During our post race call, Erinne assured me I could do it if I stayed disciplined, and hit every training session for the next 5 weeks. So I went balls to the wall and started taking training seriously, dialed in on my nutrition and went long on the weekends which ultimately got me there.

Biggest improvement – learning how to swim and bike. Erinne helped me so much. Nutrition was a huge part of the bike and run. The biggest improvement was being able to increase my distance over time, listening to Erinne’s game plan for interval repetitions and nutrition.

Name 2 or 3 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:

1. Nutrition for actual races switch to bloks instead of gels, and electrolytes in one of my water bottles.

2. Cutting tennis completely out of my life (which I love) and then alcohol, one month before to focus only on triathlon.

3. Recording stuff in my training peaks and actually committing and doing the works outs… especially long stuff on the weekends leading up to races.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?  Sense of personal achievement, committing to an IronMan and completing it.

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?  There is no better program. Just show up. Worth every penny. Eternally thankful for Erinne / Dennis/ Dany and what they did for me to help me achieve what I set out for.

Coach’s Notes:
Claudia is extremely dedicated to everything she does. We started with working on lifestyle to get sleep and nutrition dialed in so she had the energy for the training and racing.

Being a great mom is her number 1 priority and I created a program that fit around her schedule with her son. Having to train alone sometimes can be a little more difficult to hit the intervals and be consistent, but this was not the case for Claudia. Every lap was hit based on the testing we did, and the zones we created and she really knows how to deliver on race day- She is hyper focus and gets the job done! Having a Personal Record at both 70.3 and Ironman in the same season is amazing – SO proud of you girl- Let’s get to World’s even stronger!!!!!

Why you chose FCC to help you on your triathlon/health and wellness journey?

This past year and half has been a very tough time for me.  I battled depression and anxiety that came from my divorce.  Finding a healthy healing place to build a stronger me was crucial and necessary.  I found that in Full Circle.  Erinne guided me to find healing through nutrition, exercise and meditative exercises.

What is your “A” race for this season?  I think I had 2 “A” races.  The first one was the Augusta 70.3 and Ironman Florida.

Please share your BIG goals:

My big goal was to qualify for the 70.3 World Championship in New Zealand in 2020.

Tell me about your successes so far:

My successes so far have been qualifying for the 70.3 World Championship in New Zealand and achieving a PR of 40 minutes in IM Florida.

What were some of your biggest Improvements in performance for the each of the following?

Swim: Being able to control my fear while swimming in a race and not to panic when getting smacked around by other swimmers.

Bike: Being able to consistently hold higher wattage for longer.

Run: The track workouts have significantly increased my speed.

Nutrition/Health: I finally learned what foods work for me.  I cleaned up my act and let go of my favorite “toxic” drink, my beloved Red Bull.

Please include any Personal Records and Goals achieved:  My personal record was completing Ironman Florida in 11 hours and 22 minutes.

Name 2 things that have made the biggest difference in your journey:

1. Training with an amazing group of people that I’ve met through Full Circle. They’ve been so welcoming, supportive, kind and so much fun to be around.

2. The nutritional advice from Coach Erinne has been instrumental to my success.

What excites you the most about being involved in triathlon?

I love the excitement of racing and the endorphins.  However, my absolute favorite is that I can eat whatever I want that is gluten free, sugar free and dairy free…haha

What would you say to another person who was on the fence about joining our training program?  I would say “Do it!”  Seriously, it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.  Grateful to have had Erinne’s guidance.  She’s truly someone that genuinely cares about her athletes and is incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition, wellness and training.
